Bin laden Endorsed Kerry For President

By: Cindy

Just when it seem that the 2004 election cannot get any stranger, stressful and important, Osama Bin Laden, our countries greatest threat and enemy has decided to weigh in on the upcoming election.

I don't know about you, but I am a Bush supporter. However, Bin Laden has made me rethink my decision. After all, he knows first hand what he had planned 9/11, and knows what could and could not have been prevented right?

WRONG!!!!! If you are in total denial about terrorism as a threat you might agree!!!! But if you listen to some media outlets and some Bush Haters this is what they are saying. I find this logic very disturbing and insulting. Bin Laden is attempting to influence our election just as he influence the election in Spain. In that election the Pro-US Leader was defeated after Bin Laden promised not to attack them again if they elected the opposing candidate and withdrew their support for the US lead war against terror.

The USA has never bowed down to terroristic threats, but if Kerry is elected that is exactly what we will being saying to the international community. Kerry's rhetoric is more destructive to our country's international policy than anything Bin Laden can do or say. If by disaster he is elected, he has in advance made himself an ineffective, lame, duck president who is considered a puppet for the United Nations and a spineless wimp by our enemies.

Bin Laden's own desire for George W. Bush to be defeated demonstrates even greater how crucial it is for our countries future and security that Bush be re-elected.
Bin Laden stated in his taped press release that he will not attack the US if George Bush is defeated, and if we pull our support from Israel and Iraq. Remember people, we were not at war in Iraq 9/11. We cannot be bullied into submission by terrorists to withdraw our support from Israel, one of our closest allies. These Radical Terrorists have for years considered us the great Satan of the West. Our freedom and way of life represents everything they hate and that is not going to change. They believe women are property and cannot speak unless spoken to, women cannot work outside of the home, and they are against industrialization and technological advancement. There is nothing the US can do short becoming a Muslim state that will prevent them from continuing to target the US and it's interests abroad.

Yes, sleep soundly all you Kerry Supporters, because Kerry got a hugh endorsement today. Osama Bin Laden wants your guy to be president.

When White T-Shirts ATTACK!!!!

Author: Christy
To give everyone a taste of the local news here in Jackson MS, this was the top story last night...

Apparently, there is some rap song out there about how cool it is to wear white tshirts (actually they are white undershirts but whatever) and how cool it is to not only wear them, but to shoot up the neighborhood in them.

When I first heard the song, many thoughts came to mind. First, why the white tshirts? I guess since they are a form of men's underwear, that is just the most comfortable thing to wear when you are shooting some one. It is very important to have unconstricting clothing, because after all, you need full range of movement!

Second, why would anyone in their right mind be inspired by this song? It is the most pointless song I have ever heard! I mean, come on,it is about white tee shirts! But when you are busy getting drunk, doing drugs, and killing each other, I imagine it hampers creativity. It's a hard life being a loser... These thoughts were amplified when I saw the video. I have never laughed harder in my entire life. It was nothing but a group of young men desperately trying to look cool as they bobbed up and down in their riduculous "white tees". There was of course the token girls that shook their ghetto booties around, also desperately trying to look cool.

Anyway, the news reported that apparently there is a highschool that has banned students from wearing the white tshirts because of what it represents, and also because they are indeed men's underwear. Students responded by wearing white tshirts and being sent home to change. Several were suspended for insubordination. Good job, Jackson Public School System. They have now forever labeled white tshirts as cool because they are now FORBIDDEN. Jackson, MS is now forever plauged by idiots bobbing around in their white Hanes....let's just hope they are tagless for their sakes.

This Personal ad actually ran in the Atlanta Journal:
SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, race unimportant. I'm a very good looking girl who LOVES to play, take long walks in the woods, hunting, camping, fishing trips and cozy winter nights by the fire. Really like a man with a pickup truck. A candlelight dinner will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me. Rub me the right way and watch me respond. Kiss me and I'm yours. Call (404) 875-6420 and ask for Daisy.

Over 15,000 men found themselves talking to the

Atlanta Humane Society about an 8-week-old black Labrador retriever.

Men are so easy.

Smile - it's almost election day!!!

Presidential Horserace Revisited

USA/CNN/GallupPoll show the numbers are tightening in the Presidential race. Things keep getting uglier and uglier with charges of voter fraud being hurled back and forth by members of both parties. If you are looking for an impartial source, Cox News, a bipartisan news source, lists the various allegations. http://tennessean.com/

Blame The South

Rheteric is flying, opinion salads are bouncing all over the airways and blog boards.
Sometimes my blood pressure creeps up a notch or two.
According to one blog, we are headed towards a new civil war. What? you didn't know? If Kerry loses apparently he is going to contest every state. (there are crazed Christians posted at all of the voting polls and they are stealing the ballots. ) When his contest of the election process fails because of "southern conservatism"(I think the writer feels the crazed christians stealing ballots are from the South?)we will have the next Civil War.
You heard it here. We are going to have a new civil war if John Kerry is not the next president. You don't believe me? Read this.

Southern man, we don't need your vote.....

Living legacy of hysteria

Hidden Humour
Am I the only one tired of all of the hysteria out there? Is anyone thinking about the aftermath of this election. We both want our man to win. We both feel that all is lost and the free world as we know it will end if WE DON'T GET OUR WAY. After the election ends and the smoke clears, we will be forever changed.

It will be over, one day......

Today's war of words seem to be, more and more, mixtures of fact, fantasy and wishful thinking. Bush is suddenly responsible for the current healthcare crisis, the price of oil, flue shot shortages and your grandma falling and breaking her hip. Kerry is accused of prolonging the Vietnam war. Everyone (including me) needs to take a deep breath and lighten up.

A President's Lunacy?

I had to post this. I came across this clip on another blog site. "Has Bush Lost His Reason". The clip is from the British "Guardian" website and is hilarious. According to the writer on "Guardian", Bush is a unstable blathering idiot who can not not perform unscripted in public. The facts he uses to back this up? Bush gets grouchy sometimes and his mind goes blank at times on national tv. There are some vague mentionings of un-named sources. Right. That explains everything. I feel so much more enlightened now.
It seems now that the most serious decision we have to make is not a political one at all. We need to "help" Bush out of his dilemma, he is most certainly ill. Note the red face. Was that anger I saw. Did he INTERRUPT the moderator? Definite signs, definite signs of instability. Click on the link below to view the original "Guardian" story.
Has Bush Lost His Reason
Another fun website, if you enjoy political discourse and don't feel threatened by other's opinions is the blog site Left Turn on Bird Street. You can find a multitude of Bush bashing postings which can be humorous in a ludicrous way. That is where I originally stumbled upon this story. Also contained in this website is a humorous story about a bootleg radio station run out of a trailer park (September's archives) and a link to a blog post entitled "A Call To Cannibalism" (January's archives)

Political Tempers Flaring

Land of the Free
Originally uploaded by ehosey.
My father was a staunch Republican. He was very proud of the fact he voted for Nixon. A Nixon pen, dating back to Nixon's election days floated around in my parent's kitchen junk drawer for years. My mother was a closet Democrat for years (though she did convert to the Republican party during the Reagan years.) She named me Eleanor after Eleanor Roosevelt, a woman she greatly admired. She hid this fact from my father. The last Democratic president she voted for was Jimmy Carter. My father abhorred Mr Carter and thought he was an embarrassment for the South. His face would turn red and he would look down and choke out an expletive every time the press made fun of Carter. He did not let my mother ever forget she had voted for the man he called "the Peanut".

My grandparents were staunch Democrats and lived in constant fear the Republicans would "steal their Social Security".

I have been thinking about my parents and grandparents political views quite a bit lately. It seems that in this election year, political passions have been ignited in people that had remained dormant for a number of years.

I have a relative who got into an argument with an acquaintance at the grocery store today. Knowing this friend of the family for years but not realizing this person was not likeminded about things of a political nature he told a joke about the other party's nominee. Things quickly got heated and he had to make a hasty retreat.

If my parents and grandparents were alive today I think I can imagine their reaction to the current political environment. My Grandparents would be ranting red faced about the Republicans trying to steal Medicaid and their Social Security Checks. My dad would be happily debating politics at his pre-dawn coffee shop meetings with fellow retirees, he would dust his Reagan Shrine, he would blast the Democrats. My mother would be quietly forming her own opinions but not always fessing up to her true feelings. She would publicly state that the Democrats were leading us down the road to moral bankruptcy.

I would not always agree with their views. I would hope that I would have the wisdom and clarity of mind not to care any less or respect them any less for their beliefs and opinions. It does take courage to express your opinions. One of the great things about our country is the right to express opinions and be heard. We also have the right to try to change things or keep them the same depending upon our convictions. We live in the United States of America.

President Kerry, our new Commander in Chief, leading efforts in the war against Iraq.

newsbloggers
The race is tightening. With polls showing Bush at 47% and Kerry at 46%, tonight's debate could be crucial.

How do you feel? Regardless of any mistakes Bush might or might not have made, how do you feel about Kerry running the show? If John Kerry wins, he will have to try to deal with Iraq and with the coalition of countries formed to fight this war. He has largely discounted their efforts and pretends they don't exist. Would those same countries now follow his leadership? Would he really be able to get France, Russia and Germany involved in the effort?
Is he bluff and bluster with no real plan to back up any of his proposed policies?Based on his past performance, does he have the wisdom, the real stuff, to be President? Is it wise to switch Presidents in the middle of a nightmare?
What will happen if he gets into that hornet's nest we call the Middle East?

Political Jihad?

For years I have listened to our primetime network news casters. I have loved, hated sometimes trusted, and for the most part, respected their views and opinions. Even when I resented those opinions and thought they were biased, I respected their right to express them as long as they clearly delineated opinion from fact.

I am dismayed and alarmed to read today in the news the comments from todays "panel" of journalist, banded together to defend Dan Rather. Say it's not so!! Could these same journalist who have had the freedom for all these years to express their opinions, the right we all share as Americans, think free speech, that disagrees with them or attacks them in someway, can be thought of as a political jihad?

The same people who supposedly embrace free speech at any cost? Are we not allowed to share the same priveledge they have had for years, to express our opinions freely amongst ourselves and with the world?

Are they the NEW ESTABLISHENT........

Tom Brokaw was quoted Saturday as stating, "What I think is highly inappropriate is what going on across the Internet, a kind of political jihad ... that is quite outrageous," the NBC anchor said at a panel on which all three men spoke."
